Let us analyse your material
Assaying of metals refers to the processes of compositional analysis of an ore, metal, or alloy.
We offer XRF services with our state-of-the-art equipment.
Vast assaying methods
Different assaying methods are usually suitable for raw materials while a vast majority of others are more appropriate for finished goods.
The assay office assays precious metals that are still fresh and “raw”. Silver is usually analysed by a titration assaying process, while gold is by cupellation.
Platinum is being assayed by inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP OES).
Most precious materials are hallmarked where required depending on the requirements of the laws of either the place of import or the place it was manufactured.
For metals to be hallmarked appropriately, they will be put through various testing channels where they are certified by our assaying officials.
